Mother’s Day Basket Ideas

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and although we might not be able to spend it with our moms or friends we can still show them love! The quarantine means that moms are wearing ALL THE HATS—working from home, innovating their businesses, teaching, finding a million ways to entertain the kids, coming up with a new meal every night, ordering groceries online, checking in on loved ones and so on. More than ever we need to make sure we are encouraging and supporting the moms in our lives. These three gift basket ideas can be easily put together and they make for the perfect porch drop off.

To make these, I put in a drive up order from Target for most of the gifts and paired with our engraved wooden tags to make the gift personal. I used the same basket (I keep these stocked up they make any present look so cute, plus it’s a functional piece for the recipient). I hope these basket ideas inspire you to make your own—and make a mama’s day by doing so!

BASKET ONE

Let a mama know that she is STRONG! Sometimes we need a reminder that better things are to come and that we can handle any challenges coming our way—oh, and that there is always wine to help!

BASKET TWO

Let a mama know that she is CAPABLE! When our responsibilities stack up and sleep is sparse, it can be easy to feel like we just cannot keep up. With a little caffeine and a journal to encourage she takes a 5-minute break for herself, you can remind a friend that she’s got this!

BASKET THREE

Let a new mama know that she is AMAZING! As a new mom myself, I can attest that it can seem like you are failing at times and you just can’t keep up. Remind the new mama in your life that she is amazing and enough. Gift her a humorous book that will also encourage. Add a coffee mug filled with her favorite type of coffee (make it personal—does she like fresh ground? Keurig? Nespresso? Tea? Starbucks gift card?—add her go-to pick me up.) oh and wine, because she’s gonna need that just as much as the caffeine!
